Terumo names new President, Executive Vice Presidents

Terumo Corporation is pleased to announce the promotions of Mr.Yutaro Shintaku to Representative Director and President, Mr. Koji Nakao to Director and Executive Vice President and Mr. Hiroshi Matsumura to Director and Executive Vice President. 

Dr. Akira Takahashi, current Representative Director and President, will assume the post of Director and Corporate Advisor to Terumo Corporation.

The purpose of the new appointments is to accelerate Terumo's global initiatives in the medical market where rapid changes are taking place on a worldwide scale.

The new appointments will be confirmed at the board meeting of directors following the annual general meeting of shareholders on June 29, 2010.
