TERUMO contributes urgently needed medical devices
to the disaster areas in Philippines and in Indonesia
TERUMO Corporation (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Akira Takahashi) today announced that it would contribute the medical devices such as disposable syringes and blood bags needed on site in the areas stricken by Typhoon Ketsana in Philippines, and the earthquake in Sumatra, Indonesia.
Overview of the Donation

- Blood Bags: 2,000 bags
(to the Indonesian Red Cross Society)
- IV Administration sets: 1,000 sets
(to the National Jamil General Hospital)
- Typhoon hits Philippines
- Disposable Syringes: 85,000 pcs.
(to the Philippine Economic Zone Authority “PEZA” and the Laguna Province)
- Food (rice)
