New Management System

Terumo Corporation (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Takashi Wachi) will establish the new management system led by Takashi Wachi, the chairman and CEO and Akira Takahashi the president and COO in this coming June 29,2004 in terms of strengthening the management power to respond to the future business expansion.

The new personnel will be appointed at a board meeting following a general shareholders' meeting to be held in June 29, 2004.
