Terumo extends emergency aid of medical supplies
worth 11-million yen to quake-hit El Salvador
Tokyo based Terumo Corporation donated 11-million-yen's-worth of medical supplies including 170,000 needles to the Red Cross in El Salvador, in it's effort to help victims of a killer earthquake that occurred there on January 13th ,local time. We delivered these supplies to the Red Cross via our US subsidiary Terumo Medical Corp. (New Jersey) in two batches on January 19th and 23rd. The Red Cross will then distribute them to hospitals that need them.
