Urine test strips for quick and easy diabetes home testing
New Terumo URIACE Ga (10 strips)

Tokyo-based Terumo Corporation has released the new Terumo URIACE Ga, easy-to-use test strips for detecting glucose in the urine. Packaged in convenient 10-strip packs, new URIACE Ga will be sold at pharmacies and dispensaries throughout Japan.

Diabetes is accompanied by the excretion of large amounts of sugar in the urine, and home urinalysis allows a quick check of urine glucose levels. The new Terumo URIACE Ga offers a convenient number of strips at a reasonable price, enabling anyone who is concerned about diabetes to do their own simple glucose tests at home.

Recommended pre-tax retail price is \700 for each 10-strip pack. A sales target of \600 million has been set for the first year.
