New Terumo Digital Blood Pressure Monitor P302
Tokyo-based Terumo Corporation has anounced the March 10 release of the Terumo Digital Blood Pressure Monitor P302. The reasonably priced P302 is a digital blood pressure monitor for home use with a memory function that can record and display the seven most recent diastolic and systolic blood pressure readings.
The P302 will be sold at pharmacies and electrical goods stores throughout Japan at a recommended retail price of 9,000 yen. A sales objective of 100,000 units has been set for the first year.

- Seven-measurement memory function
The P302 can record and display seven most recent blood pressure readings (systolic and diastolic) making it possible to compare recent readings and eliminating the need to manually record readings each time. The blood pressure monitor can also display the average of recorded readings.
- Automatic inflation (affix the arm band and press a switch)
Just press a switch and the arm band automatically inflates to the required pressure, eliminating the need for time-consuming setting of pressure levels.
